• God will use college-aged students to change the church, the city, and the world.

• The university is a four-year window in a person’s life when God has a maximum opportunity to build a foundation for a life lived for Him.

• There is no higher calling or incredible privilege than helping fulfill the Great Commission.

WHY HAVE A COLLEGE MINISTRY?

Churches have a distinct responsibility to help college students grow in their understanding and experience of Church Membership, Personal Discipleship, Mission Mindedness, and Community Contagiousness. Our goal is for all students coming through Columbus Avenue Baptist Church to be "Kingdom Minded" about their degrees, jobs, families, etc.

College Ministries exists to help students find their place within the kingdom of God and to be on mission for Jesus Christ over all other things.

OUR MISSION (NOW)

Avenue College Ministry will disciple and send college-aged students as lifelong and resilient disciples of Jesus and his mission.

OUR VISION (FUTURE)

To be, make, and send resilient disciples into the world using an authentic and holistic community, that every student that comes to us would be proud to have called Avenue College Ministry “home.”
