FRIDAY Prayer Guide

“But you...pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness. Fight the good fight for the faith; take hold of eternal life that you were called to and have made a good confession about in the presence of many witnesses.” 1 Timothy 6:11-12 HCSB

Dylan Manley, Minister to Youth

  • Please pray this verse for Dylan: “I give thanks to Christ Jesus our Lord who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, appointing me to the ministry.”  1 Timothy 1:12 HCSB
  • Please pray for youth camp coming up on June 11-15 and our youth mission trip on June 24-29. Pray that more students will sign up for these opportunities to hear as well as to spread the gospel message.

“Let no one despise your youth; instead, you should be an example to the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12 HCSB

Deacons, Bible Study Teachers and Leaders

  • Pray for a hunger and thirsting for God’s Word and an obedient spirit for all of our leaders and family of faith as we seek to serve Him in our daily walk.
  • From Fred Walters, Deacon Chairman: A few weeks ago during our combined Celebration Service, Josh enumerated all of the ministries and successes we have accomplished in the last several years. I am thankful that CABC continues to strive to be God’s Word in this city and around the world. During our recent Deacons Meeting, Josh emphasized that we are only beginning and that we will continue to try to be relevant to citizens that we serve. I am thankful that we have a leader that wants to accomplish God’s will and I pray that the church steps up to the challenge of bringing God’s love to everyone.
