FRIDAY Prayer Guide

“We wait for Yahweh; He is our help and shield. For our hearts rejoice in Him because we trust in His holy name. May Your faithful love rest on us, Yahweh, for we put our hope in You.” Psalm 33:20-22 HCSB

Dylan Manley, Minister to Youth

  • Please pray this verse for Dylan: “I will triumph in Yahweh; I will rejoice in the God of my salvation! Yahweh my Lord is my strength…” Habakkuk 3:18 HCSB
  • Praise for an excellent trip to Utah over spring break! As a result of doing evangelism there, our juniors and seniors in high school are excited about evangelizing here in Waco too! Pray that God will equip them to do just that – continue to minister in His Name!

“Restore the joy of Your salvation to me, and give me a willing spirit. Then I will teach the rebellious Your ways, and sinners will return to You.” Psalm 51: 12-13 HCSB

Christian Men’s Job Corp, Dan Worley

  • Please continue to pray for this ministry, for those who lead the volunteers and for the men to whom they minister. Pray for their needs to be met, both financially and ministry-related. They are still very much in need of meals to be served to the men. Check online
to sign up to provide a meal.

Christian Women’s Job Corp, Suzanne Hack

  • Continue to pray for participants for our Spring Career Track Classes; for perseverance and motivation for GED participants as they finish up this semester; One of our participants asked for prayer for her marriage; for new networking opportunities that we are currently working on.

“And the disciples were filled with joy and the Holy Spirit.” Acts 13:52 HCSB

Deacons, Bible Study Teachers and Leaders

  • Pray for a hunger and thirsting for God’s Word and an obedient spirit for all of our leaders and family of faith as we seek to serve Him in our daily walk.
  • From Fred Walters, Deacon Chairman: The Deacon nomination process has begun and the nomination committee is accepting nominations from the church.  I am so thankful and rejoice for all of the Deacons that serve so sacrificially in our church.  But I know that there are other men in our church that have a servant heart and these men need to be recognized and be ordained into the Deacon Body so that we can be even more able to serve the church.  I hope that the members of the church will pray about who to nominate to be considered a Deacon at CABC.
