FRIDAY Prayer Guide

“Now I urge you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree in what you say, that there be no divisions among you, and that you be united with the same understanding and the same conviction.” 1 Corinthians 1:10 HCSB

Dylan Manley, Minister to Youth

  • We have begun a new school year with new leaders. Pray for students as they grow in discipleship and our leaders as they lead faithfully this year.

“For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.” Proverbs 2:6 NIV

Christian Women’s Job Corp, Suzanne Hack

  • Pray for CWJC as they help to heal, encourage and support women to move past their circumstances and become better than before…to have a changed life!  Praise for the success of Baskets of Hope held last month.

Deacons, Bible Study Teachers and Leaders

  • Pray for a hunger and thirsting for God’s Word and an obedient spirit for all of our leaders and family of faith as we seek to serve Him in our daily walk.
  • From Bob Hartland, Deacon Chairman: Tonight (Sep. 23) I was voted in as Church Moderator which appears to be the official kickoff of my term as Deacon Chair. I look forward to serving our staff and church in the capacity alongside Brad Wilson (Vice Chair) and Matt Hurst (Secretary). It will be an exciting year. Tonight’s business meeting was very encouraging with open and frank conversation. I continue to pray that the CABC family remains open to God’s leading as we strive to be the Church in the Center of the City.
