Family Avenue is an opportunity to create a culture of intentional families. It exists to increase the likelihood those attending Columbus Avenue will build a life–long, thriving marriage, introduce their children to Christ and launch their teens as committed believers.  Two of our ministries at Columbus Avenue make up the Family Avenue Ministry--Columbus Kids (Children's Ministry) and Avenue Youth Ministry.

As a ministry, we are committed to partnering with parents and creating a safe environment for kids to experience the love of God and learn the truth of His word so that they take the next step in their faith journey.

Our youth ministry aims to bring students to know Christ and honor Him with their lives through connecting with other believers, serving their community, growing in knowledge, and reaching out to others. We encourage students through a growth process and challenge them to extend the gospel, gather and grow together, serve others, and honor God with their lives.  

We seek to grow our college students spiritually while encouraging them to go and serve the world through their unique gifts and abilities.  Our primary focus is for you to connect with older and spiritually mature adults who will love you and help you grow spiritually.  We accomplish this through Sunday school, college small groups, and through plugging  you in to the life of our church through service.  

Through the various ministries of Columbus Avenue, our prayer is for CABC adults to grow in knowing Christ in a personal relationship and grow in knowing each other and serving together. 

The Music & Worship Ministry encompasses people of all ages.  Some of our goals include creating authentic worship experiences, providing opportunities for leading in worship, facilitating personal spiritual development, fostering supportive relationships, educating the next generation of church leaders, and reaching out to the city, nation, and world through music mission trips.  We have a place for you to serve!

theCENTER will honor and reach people for Christ by helping them become the individuals that God has created them to be. Through recreation programs and fitness activities, people will come to know and reach their full potential both physically and spiritually. Also, through outreach programs and activities, theCENTER will reach the surrounding community of families allowing them to hear the gospel and experience God’s love.

God's primary purpose for prayer is to give us the opportunity to know Him.  Through prayer, we abide in Him and allow Him to live through us.  Our hope is that these pages online will help you to communicate with God.   There are places to leave a prayer request for others to pray.  There are places to see the needs of others and join them in prayer.  There are places to pray for specific people in the community that God will guide and protect them.
