I’m so excited about February 25th! On that Sunday from 9 am – 2 pm, we are going to have our CABC Missions Fair. There will be coffee and breakfast snacks during the morning hour and hamburgers for sale for lunch. The purposes of this fair are to:

1.  Explore (Awareness) our mission ministries and connections. Many church members and attenders are not aware of the various service opportunities we have at CABC. SO, we are inviting our different ministries to have their own booths in the Fellowship Hall, and they will be available to talk with people and give them info about their respective service opportunities. Here are some of the ministries you will see at the fair:

  • Kids Hope USA
  • Neighbors International
  • Adults on Mission (WMU)
  • Upwards Basketball and Cheerleading
  • Pathways
  • Mission Waco
  • AVENUE College Ministry
  • CareNet
  • Waco Regional Baptist Association
  • Meals on Wheels
  • M.A.D. Hatters
  • Operation Christmas Child
  • Trinity Baptist Church - Dénia, Spain

2.  Engage (Commitment) everyone in mission opportunities. It’s such a joy to be a part of a church that gives itself away. I’m always talking to people who want to get involved in missions, and this fair will expose people to mission opportunities in 2018-2019 and encourage them to commit locally and/or globally.

Please make plans to be at this fair. We are encouraging our Sunday school groups to come together during the Sunday school hour and commit to a specific endeavor. And please join me in promoting this fair. I believe it’s going to be a very special day at CABC!
