A Ministry for Foreign-Born Adults
Every Thursday morning from September through May internationals from different countries gather at Columbus Avenue to take classes on topics ranging from English and United States Citizenship to Sewing and Piano. This ministry is available to anyone who was born outside the United States.

We are pleased to announce that, after a break in our ministry for COVID-19 concerns, Neighbors International is meeting again in person, with appropriate precautions and procedures.
We would like feedback from all former and prospective participants in the Neighbors International program.
We meet Thursdays, 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall, and then break out into classes on the 1st & 4th floors of the church.
We will offer courses for the Fall 2022 semester as follows:
Communication Classes include:
- English - ESL, Conversational English
- Spanish - Conversational Spanish
Creative Arts Classes include:
- Knitting & Crochet
- Scrapbooking
- Beginning Sewing
- Advanced Sewing
- Painting
Life Skills Classes include:
- Computer - Keyboarding, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Graphics, and the Internet
- Citizenship
- Driver's Education
Music Classes include:
- Choir
- Private Piano Lessons
Classes meet every week from September through May. Class instruction is free. Two class periods are available each Thursday.
*Free infant and preschool childcare is available in the Children's building.
