McLennan County Pack of Hope
Pack of Hope was founded on the idea of helping those in need. Since its establishment, its ministry has endeavored to provide help where the need is greatest: helping those who can't yet help themselves. McLennan County Pack of Hope seeks to fulfill its mission by supplying students of participating districts with bags of nutritious food from Friday through Sunday. Ensuring children are fed over weekends and holidays allows them to focus throughout the week on their studies and have the necessary resources to excel in school.
In May of 2021, Columbus Avenue Baptist Church formed a partnership with Pack of Hope and is proud to provide not only a space where they can prepare more than 1,000 packs weekly but also volunteers to help fulfill their mission.
