SATURDAY Prayer Guide

“We wait for Yahweh; He is our help and shield. For our hearts rejoice in Him because we trust in His holy name. May Your faithful love rest on us, Yahweh, for we put our hope in You.” Psalm 33:20-22 HCSB

Brandal McCormack, Director/ Elizabeth Walter, Asst. Director, TheCenter

  • Please pray this verse for Brandal & Elizabeth:“I will triumph in Yahweh; I will rejoice in the God of my salvation! Yahweh my Lord is my strength…” Habakkuk 3:18 HCSB
  • Summer Day Camp is right around the corner, so please continue to pray for the children that will be registered to attend our camps this summer and their families. We are in the hiring process for summer staff, so please pray that God sends us quality workers that love the Lord and want to show that love to the campers. Pray for the leadership as we work to prepare everything for Day Camp on the administrative side; pray that God will give us guidance, patience and persistence.

Our Nation – Local, State and National Leadership

“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 NIV

  • "Division abounds in almost every segment of America. Sadly, it exists even between Christians and in most churches. For too long, disunity has triumphed in our nation. It is time for this to come to an end. Our greatest hope lies only in Jesus Christ, His Gospel, and the advancement of this Good News message reaching every corner of America and across this world. While we call out to God for His Church to be revived by the Spirit and come together in unity and simultaneously pray extraordinarily for the next Great Spiritual Awakening in America, I want to ask you to consider these four actions for all Christians right now. 1.Rest in the Lord, 2.Come together in Unity, 3. Prepare for the Future, 4. Pray like never before for the Next Great Spiritual Awakening!”  From The National Day of Prayer Leadership

  • Watching thousands of young people rally for Gun Safety in our nation is a great opportunity to PRAY for the youth in this nation!!! Pray that we can communicate to them what is Good and Right for them, our schools and this nation! Pray for leaders in schools, our state and federal leaders to seek God and follow His leadership on this important issue.

  • Pray for Justice in America! Let’s lift up our justices and judges to the Lord’s direction, wisdom and protection. Also pray for our police and lawmen, who are out there for our protection and ask The Lord to watch over their lives and hearts.

  • With changes in cabinet positions, pray for these new leaders to have wise and sound judgment in their decisions. Also pray for The Lord’s guidance and protection from the enemy and for President Trump in his many decisions. When dealing with North Korea, Russia, China and Iran, plus others, they need Wisdom, Courage and Strength with their plans, actions and reactions!!!

  • Pray for our eyes to be open and our ears to hear the Lord’s direction to reach out to our neighbors and communities in love and care with the Good News of Jesus Christ. PRAY for revival in our families, neighborhoods and communities – beginning with each of us down on our knees before the LORD!

  • It is our responsibility as God's children to pray for the persecuted Christians and refugees who have lost everything. Pray the Lord will comfort and restore their lives. And pray for those who reach out to them (the missions and benevoloent ministries) and help meet their needs even as they work tirelessly and put themselves in danger.

  • Pray for the Lord’s watchcare as the US Embassy moves to Jerusalem in recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

  • There’s a great need for prayer for the Lord’s Plan of marriage to return strong in our nation even with the Supreme Court decision.  May God’s people stand strong in faith and prayer against the travesty of abortion in this nation. Pray for conviction in Congress to reverse Roe vs. Wade!

"But I urge and entreat you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you be in perfect harmony, and full agreement in what you say, and that there be no dissensions or factions or divisions among you; but that you be perfectly united in your common understanding and in your opinions and judgments.” 1 Corinthians 1:10 AMP
