  • Pray for: Families at the awards celebration that do not attend a church to be open to the invitation of connecting at our church; Families to be open to hear and respond to the gospel message at the awards celebration; We (CABC) would be diligent in staying connected with Upward families, especially unchurched families and new believers

Our Nation – Local, State and National Leadership


“But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said: ‘Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.’’’ Ephesians 5:14

  • Praise the Lord for our leaders who by strength and courage serve our nation, states and communities. Pray for their protection and strength to do what is right, especially Christian leaders who seek the Lord and strive to lead in wisdom and truth. Pray for President Trump, his family and cabinet to seek the Lord first in all decisions. Pray for the representatives of the people to communicate with one another with respect and civility as they lead and may they make wise decisions for this nation.

  • Pray for wisdom and sound judgment for our President and Congress when dealing with North Korea and the increasing nuclear threat they pose. Pray that all of the nations in this region will be strong and united in their effort to ease the situation. And pray for the Lord’s intervening Hand and Will to be in this process. Pray for all decisions when dealing with foreign nations that we will use good judgment and make wise choices, including with Iran!.

  • Pray for the Lord’s watchcare as the US Embassy moves to Jerusalem in recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

  • Thank you, Lord for all those who have given themselves volunteering for many days and months to help those in great loss and need through the severe storms, fires and tragedies of last year! Pray for protection and respect for our lawmen, as they work to protect the people and fireman and first responders in dangerous situations. Continue to pray for God’s strength and comfort for the families who have experienced great loss.

  • Pray for the leaders of our nation, state and communities to stand up against the enemy that is trying to destroy religious freedom in this land. Also let’s pray that the church will wake up to stand for righteousness, truth and justice. Pray the Lord’s Plan of marriage would return strong in our nation even with the Supreme Court decision.  May God’s people stand up against the travesty of abortion in this nation.

  • Pray for our military personnel and their families as some are being sent to fight in war zones. Pray for the military leaders to have wisdom and seek the Lord and His direction.

  • Pray for the persecuted Christians and refugees who have lost everything. Pray the Lord will comfort and restore their lives. And pray for those who reach out to them and help meet their needs. 

  • Pray for our eyes to be open and our ears to hear the Lord’s direction to reach out to our neighbors and communities in love and care with the Good News of Jesus Christ. PRAY FOR REVIVAL IN OUR LAND –with each of us down on our knees before the LORD!
