SATURDAY Prayer Guide

“Devote yourselves to prayer; stay alert in it with thanksgiving. At the same time, pray also for us that God may open a door to us for the message, to speak the mystery of the Messiah….” Colossians 4:2-3 HCSB

Brandal McCormack, Director/ Elizabeth Walter, Asst. Director, TheCenter

  • Please pray this verse for Brandal & Elizabeth:“I keep the LORD in mind always. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken." Psalm 16:8 HCSB
  • Praise for a successful and safe Day Camp and for all of those who worked to make it happen!
  • Please continue to pray for the staff (Rec Assistants) that we will have for the fall semester at theCENTER. Some of the same staff will stick around for the fall but we will need to hire and train at least one or possibly two new staff. Prayers for God to send us a ministry-minded individual who will serve theCENTER and CABC well. Thank y’all for your continued prayers!

Our Nation – Local, State and National Leadership

“…The urgent request of a righteous person is very powerful in its effect. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours; yet he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the land. Then he prayed again, and the sky gave rain and the land produced its fruit.” James 5:16b-18 HCSB

  • “God listens to prayers, answers prayers, and moves in response to prayers. Jesus taught, “…I tell you the truth. If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matt. 17:20) As the Lord has promised, prayer will transform our nation by transforming individual lives, one heart at a time.” Taken from the Presidential Team website

“Will you not revive us again so that Your people may rejoice in You? Show us Your faithful love, LORD, and give us Your salvation. I will listen to what God will say; surely the LORD will declare peace to His people, His godly ones, and not let them go back to foolish ways. His salvation is very near those who fear Him, so that glory may dwell in our land.” Psalm 85:6-9 HCSB

  • As the Lord leads, please: Pray for revival in our land – beginning with each of us down on our knees before the LORD!

  • As the Lord leads, please: Pray for President Trump and his White House team and the major decisions they are faced with on a daily basis.

  • As the Lord leads, please: Pray for members of the Senate as they continue to consider the House health care bill and/or rewrite a bill of their own. Pray that they will agree to all work together on this bill.
  • As the Lord leads, please: Pray for the Trump Administration and Congress as they consider rewriting the tax code as it impacts the American economy and individual citizens.
  • As the Lord leads, please: Pray for America’s courts as they consider issues of public health, safety and welfare.
  • As the Lord leads, please: Pray for the Trump Administration and Congress as they consider U.S. policies on war and conflict matters.
  • As the Lord leads, please: Pray about the U.S. Asia policies, and particularly about America’s relationships with China. Pray for the leaders in Israel to be wise in their dealings with increased Palestinian threats.
  • As the Lord leads, please: Pray for the federal government as well as the governors, state legislatures and mayors across America facing the aftermath of natural disasters, emergencies and civil unrest. Pray for those being impacted that they will receive the help that they need and be blessed by faith-based groups showing the love of Christ as they reach out to help.

“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in Him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13 HCSB
