Our Nation – Local, State and National Leadership

“First Of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone, for kings and all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.” 1 Timothy 2:1-2

  • From the US Presidential Prayer Team:
  • Why should you pray for your leaders?  The intercession of God’s people can be powerful and transforming. As Charles Spurgeon said, “Prayer is the slender nerve that moves the omnipotent muscle of God.”

How, and what do you pray?

  • Pray for the salvation of your leaders. Pray for the health and safety of your leaders. Pray for wisdom and diplomacy of your leaders. Pray for integrity in your leaders. Pray for the welfare of your nation.

  • As the Lord leads, please pray: for God's hand of protection and grace on Christians facing persecution; that those being persecuted will remain faithful to God; That Christians worldwide will stand up for the Gospel
