THURSDAY Prayer Guide

“If you continue in My word, you really are My disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32 HCSB

Justin Smith, Minister to College Students

  • Please pray this verse for Justin: “…let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16 HCSB
  • Pray for our students who are all around the world this summer serving and growing. We have students who are in Kenya, China, Hawaii, England and France.
  • Pray for our 2017-2018 Student Leadership Team. Pray that God would continue to grow them and excite them to do ministry this coming year.
  • Pray for freshmen coming this fall. Pray that God would begin to soften their hearts to the gospel and that He would use us to change lives.

Neighbors International Program

  • Please continue to pray for plans and preparations for "Neighbors in July" as well as the planning and recruiting of workers for next fall.

“Again, I assure you: If two of you on earth agree about any matter that you pray for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there among them.” Matthew 18:19-20 HCSB

Prayer with the Pastor

  • Join Pastor Josh and others as we gather together at Noon in the Fireside Room at the Center on the third Thursday of the month to pray for our church, our city and our nation. Pray for more to learn about & participate in this special time!
  • Come for the whole hour or even part of the time to be an intercessor!
  • Let’s be in prayer for God to begin preparing our church and each of us as individuals for revival!
  • In Isaiah 56:7b, God promises to “give them joy in my house of prayer.” Let’s make CABC a house of prayer!

Senior Adult Committee

  •   Praise for the good time everyone had last month going to “First Monday” in Canton. The trip to visit the Renfro Valley Music Center, Noah’s Ark and Shaker Village (in Kentucky) had to be cancelled. Be sure to thank our senior adult committee for their hard work and may our CABC seniors be supportive of their plans.
