TUESDAY Prayer Guide

“Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise His name. For Yahweh is good, and His love is eternal; His faithfulness endures through all generations.”  Psalm 100:4-5 HCSB

Danny Walker, Executive Pastor

  • Please pray this verse for Danny: “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.  Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”  Ephesians 6:10

  • Please pray for our Brook Avenue family, A, K, D, J and V, that we have built a very close relationship with. All at once the family is experiencing some very difficult challenges: serious family illness, kids’ safety, extended family CPS and law enforcement investigations, and school issues. Please pray that this family will find healing, peace, direction and transformation in such volumes as only Jesus can provide.

Staff Meeting

  • Pray that the staff will clearly receive God's vision and direction in all decisions and ministries.
  • Pray for God’s wisdom and guidance as plans are being made to implement the first phase of Facilities 2025.
  • Thank You, Lord, for each of these You have called to serve at CABC!
  • Pray that we will love and support each of our staff members in their area of ministry and will welcome our interim Music and Worship leaders.

“Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.” Proverbs 16:3 NIV

Outreach Ministry, Julie Webster

  • Pray that the visitors for the Outreach Ministry will be disciplined to make visits faithfully. We continue to need more volunteers to visit people who can't come to church or who might need some encouragement. Please call Julie Webster @ 210 716-8853 if you would be willing to make a visit once a month to encourage a brother or sister in our church family.

 Anne Broaddus, Kid's Hope

  • Praise be to God for His presence among us. Things may look different in the future for Brook Avenue, and four other campuses where we mentor, but it is not going to be closed. Pray for Marcus Nelson, WISD Superintendent, and the WISD school board as they work diligently to provide the help children need to succeed. Pray strength and wisdom for the Brook Ave staff and God’s faithful presence with them each day.

  • Pray for God to make His way clear for our Kids Hope ministry as we determine to stay the course ministering among the children and families of the North Waco neighborhood around Brook Ave Elementary.

  • Pray each mentoring relationship would result in children reading on grade level as reading is paramount in all areas of education! Praise God for KH READERS at Brook Avenue who read in 12 classrooms each week! Pray as preparations begin soon for our summer KH Book Nook at Brook.

  • Pray for children and families who attend Columbus worship services, Upward games and Wednesday Bible studies. Pray God continues to draw children and parents unto Himself. Praise God in advance for all He is going to do!
