WEDNESDAY Prayer Guide

“Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise His name. For Yahweh is good, and His love is eternal; His faithfulness endures through all generations.”  Psalm 100:4-5 HCSB

Shelley Cadmus, Minister of Childhood Education

  • Please pray this verse for Shelley: I will sing about the LORD’s faithful love forever; I will proclaim Your faithfulness to all generations with my mouth." Psalm 89:1 HCSB
  • Praise for the wonderful LIT – Leaders in Training presentation in the worship service last month. They did a wonderful job and it was so meaningful and powerful to hear all of the names of our Lord used in God’s Word! Keep up the good work!
  • We had 9 kids participate in the New Christian’s Class in October. Pray for these boys and girls as they prepare to be baptized in the days ahead and for their parents as they disciple them in the home.

  • Pray for our upcoming Family Retreat at the end of November that it would be a sweet time of fellowship, worship, and rest for the families participating.

Michelle Witt, Minister of Preschool Education

  • Please pray this verse for Michelle:I will sing about the LORD’s faithful love forever; I will proclaim Your faithfulness to all generations with my mouth." Psalm 89:1 HCSB
  • Please pray for the Parent Family Dedication to be held during the worship service on November 11th. Our families face many challenging times as they attempt to raise their children in the ways of the Lord and we need to pray for strength and wisdom from the Lord as they attempt to “train up a child in the way they should go.”

  • We continue to experience a significant increase in preschool attendance in the last few months! That being said, please continue to pray for many more volunteers to commit to serving our littlest treasures. Praise for Michelle’s 3 years of service with CABC!

Wednesday Evening Activities

  •  Please pray that all Columbus members would prayerfully consider committing to one of the studies being offered on Wednesday evenings for the second session of ColumbusU. Also consider bringing a friend or co-worker that needs to connect with a fellowship of believers or is unchurched. We are thankful to be a part of a body of believers that wants to grow in Christ and make a difference for Him.

“Give thanks in everything, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”  1 Thessalonians 5:18 HCSB

Compassion Ministries

  • Continue to pray for outreach to Compassion Ministries residents. Pray for guidance in how to reach out to them; for God to move their hearts to respond and come to Bible study and worship; and for members of CABC to be led to make connections with the residents!
